IU’s Disability Roundtable: On Wednesday, February 20, IUB’s Disability Roundtable will  host this semester’s first Accessible University Series titled Inclusion on Campus: The Top 10 Accommodation Needs for Students with Disabilities, from 12:00  to 1:00 p.m., in the Indiana Memorial Union’s Georgian Room.

This session, presented by Martha Jacques Engstrom, Director, Disability Services for Students, will highlight the ten most frequently requested accommodations made by students with disabilities… from physical access to note-takers to classrooms to test-taking. Whether you teach a class or coordinate special events on campus, this session is sure to provide you with more insights to planning inclusively for students with disabilities.

If you would like to attend and require a sign language interpreter, real time captioning, assistive listening system, other auxiliary aid or information in alternate format, or if you want further information, please contact Alice Voigt (ajvoight@Indiana.edu) at the National Center on Accessibility at (812) 856-4422 (voice) or (812) 856-4421 (TTY).

The Accessible University series is a collaborative activity of IUB’s Disability Roundtable, coordinated by Vicki Pappas, Director, Center for Planning and Policy Studies, Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (cpps@indiana.edu) and Alice Voigt of the National Center on Accessibility (ajvoight@Indiana.edu).
